MEMPHIS, Tennessee – In honor of National Golf Day, the FedEx St. Jude Championship is proud to introduce a new grant program open to Memphis nonprofit organizations. Through this program, the tournament is partnering with PGA TOUR Superstore to expand access and equity to golf programs in under-resourced communities.

Complementing the tournament’s continued support of golf in the region, the grant program awards new golf equipment and resources to local golf programs based on merit and need.

"Through our new equipment grant program our goal is to ensure access to essential gear for golfers of every age and background here in Memphis. Beyond clubs and balls, we're delivering opportunity and building community through the game we love,” remarked FedEx St. Jude Championship Executive Director, Joe Tomek.

To be eligible for the grant, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Have 501(c)3 tax exempt status.
• Organization must operate at the local level or be an affiliate/chapter of a larger organization that operates locally.
• Have programs intended to provide free or low-cost enrichment programs for participants.
