FedEx St. Jude Championship Launches Community Fund to Empower Local Nonprofits
MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Memphis' hometown PGA TOUR event, the FedEx St. Jude Championship, is proud to announce the launch of the Positively Memphis Community Fund, a new initiative designed to provide support to nonprofit organizations that are making a meaningful impact in the Mid-South.
The fund will operate on quarterly grant cycles, with each cycle focusing on a specific area of need. Grants ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 will be awarded to local organizations that align with the fund’s mission to foster growth and create positive change. This quarter’s focus is Health, Wellness, and Sport, prioritizing programs that promote physical health, mental well-being, and fitness through sports and active living. Applications for this cycle will close on March 30, 2025.
“Our dedication to Memphis goes far beyond the tournament itself,” said Joe Tomek, Executive Director of the FedEx St. Jude Championship. “We are so grateful to this community for the incredible support that has put us in a position to lend this kind of meaningful assistance to local organizations. We’re truly excited to see the impact these grants will have on the people and programs that make Memphis such a special place.”
